By Chris Fetters, Dawgman: The contract details of one of Washington’s new men’s basketball assistant coaches have been released. Dawgman.com was able to obtain a copy of Wyking Jones’s contract from the school, which fleshes out the details of his agreement with UW. News of Jones being hired by Washington was made public on April 14.
The contract, which was officially agreed to three weeks ago, is for two years. In his first year, Jones will make $309,000 as his base salary, which will get bumped up to $350,004 for the 2022-23 season. There are also standard provisions in the contract, such as a courtesy car and standard benefits as a university employee.
