We have a very, very deep group of Pac-12 DBs coming into the season this year, led by a big-time star and filled with quality transfers, a few from within the Conference.

This is a group that was really hard to rank and trim to 12.

It’s all really about Number One, though, a major All-American candidate for Utah.

1. Clark Phillips III, Sophomore, Cornerback, Utah
CP III could be one of the best cornerbacks in America after showing what he can do in the Rose Bowl. He’ll have a full season in 2022 to be on the national stage and possibly become a Thorpe Award winner.

Bishop is a future star in the Conference who could be much higher on this list by the end of the season.

He had more than 50 tackles as a freshman and has all the tools to be another scary Utah defender.

Rezjohn Wright | Oregon State Athletics

8. Rezjohn Wright, Senior, Cornerback, Oregon State
A 6-2 veteran with great ball skills and a track record of helping the Beavers shore up their defense, Wright had more than 50 tackles and two ints last year.

Blackmon was a serious standout throughout his career at Colorado. He’ll immediately make an impact at USC after earning All-Pac-12 honors last year.
