By Matt Howe, 247Sports: The Oregon Ducks defeated the California Golden Bears by a score of 24-17 Friday night. They improved their record to 5-1. Linebacker Noah Sewell was excellent in the win, totaling 11 tackles and one tackle for loss.
After the game, Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal raved about Sewell, who is the younger brother of current Detroit Lions offensive tackle Penei Sewell.
