Pac-12 football championship reforms would benefit USC and Oregon

By Matt Zemek, Trojans Wire: Jon Wilner of the San Jose Mercury News has offered the assessment that the Pac-12 is maneuvering to change the format of its conference championship football game.

The league, per Wilner, is poised to adopt the Big 12 model of having the top two teams in the standings play for the conference championship, instead of having a two-division model in which the North champion plays the South champion.
