By Zack Pearson, Trojans Wire: How to end the Pac-12’s College Football Playoff drought? It’s not a question on par with how to split an atom or how to attain world peace, but it has still been a puzzle for college football fans in the West over the past five years.
The Pac-12 has gone five straight seasons without a playoff berth, and with momentum slowing for a 12-team playoff plan — meaning that we might have a four-team playoff for each of the next four years — the margin for error in the Pac-12 will remain small.
