By Zackary Armstrong, CougFan: Washington State’s Nick Rolovich told the media Wednesday afternoon returning starting quarterback Jayden de Laura won’t participate in WSU’s first spring football practice on Thursday. Rolovich simply answered “No, no he’s not,” when asked if the quarterback would be on the field for the first of 15 spring practices.
But in trying to read between the lines, it didn’t sound like de Laura was likely to sit out the entire spring. He was suspended indefinitely from the program following a DUI arrest in Pullman on Feb. 6.
