Oregon and Oklahoma each enter the Alamo Bowl with interim head coaches running the programs for the game.

Pac-12 Bryan McClendon takes over the helm for the Ducks, and Bob Stoops returns to run the Sooners.

This is a marquee matchup of a pair of top 20 teams, but also a pair of teams that were looking beyond the Alamo Bowl at the start of November.

A key factor in this one is which team wants to be there more. Since the start of 1999, Oklahoma has won the most games of any team in the nation with 245, Oregon’s 211 wins during that time ranks eighth most.

Total points scored since the 1999 season sees Oklahoma with the most at 11,762 scored and Oregon third with 10,735

My Alamo Bowl game notes for each team appear below.
