Week Three SportsPac12 Players of the Week

Pac-12Each week our senior football writers—Dane Miller, Nick Bartlett, Stephen Vilardo, Mark Shmor, and Mik Dietlin—select an Offensive, Defensive, and Freshman Player of the Week throughout the 2021 football season.

They submit their selections before the official Pac-12 Players of the Week are released to keep their choices independent. Eight different players received votes in Week Three.

You’ll find a tabulation of their choices and a cumulative listing of all weekly SportsPac12 Players of the Week at the bottom of the page.

How Our Writers Voted

Note on our tiebreakers: Five different players received votes for Defensive Player of the Week. In keeping with our tiebreakers, we eliminated players from losing teams (Utah and UCLA), narrowing it down to the players who hadn’t won before (Brendan Radley-Hiles and Noah Sewell), before giving the nod to Radley-Hiles based on his overall statistical performance.
